A graduate of SDSU and a Masters graduate of USC, he has penned several books and plays including: DID YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK? IS NOT ENOUGH!, THE HOMEBOY'S GUIDE TO SOUTHERN COOKIN', GOING SOLO, JESSE AND THE CATERPILLAR WHO GOT ITS WINGS, BROKEN, A CONDITION OF FAITH, BELAFONTE UNAUTHORIZED, and DID YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK? He has also starred or co-starred in television, film, and theatre. A coveted teaching artist, with a M.S. Teaching Credential, he sits on the board of E. P. Academy, a school for urban youth and has worked with firms facilitating P.D. workshops. Raised economically challenged, he believes learning is forever. It’s not enough to regurgitate info; we must reflect how it changes lives and creates shifts in perception and economics. "A strong and vital society can’t exist unless people create it together. We must become critical thinkers and risk takers who believe our actions make a difference. We’re free to examine limits, but we have to be motivated by believing there are none." |
