Introduction	From NYC, Denise is a first year MFA in Choreography student at UNCG. Denise holds a BS in Dance Ed from NYU, earned the award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance Education, and is Public School Teacher Certified (K-12) in NYC. For 6 years, she worked in arts administration and taught Master Classes at The Ailey School,in NYC. She has worked with a number of companies and choreographers including Kriota Willberg/Dura Mater, Deborah Damast and Dancers, Douglas Dunn, Renata Celichowska, Carl Paris, and was an original member of isadoraNOW, a dance company dedicated to preserving the works of Isadora Duncan. Her choreography has been seen throughout NY and NJ in venues such as NYU's Fredrick Loewe Theater and The Ailey School. Denise has also worked in various areas of dance production for The Ailey School, The Francesca Harper Project, and Genesis Dance Company, serving as Production Manager, Company Manager, House Manager, and Event Coordinator. She is also a Graphic Designer, who has designed wedding invitations and promotional materials for The Ailey School, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Genesis Dance Company. She currently lives in Greensboro with her husband Donald.
