| Introduction | Jennifer is a Master of Public Health student and a research specialist at University of Missouri. "Mental health policies" is the course I am currently taking. When I think about the topic of blogging, eating disorders popped up in my mind. As a mother of two teenage girls, this topic has risen in our conversation for a few years. It shocked me when I heard my girls talked about one of my younger daughter's classmates at age 11 got sent to rehabilitation center because of sever anorexia. Since then I learned this disorder is much more common now a day than ever before. I built this blog for raising awareness in our community. |
