About me

Introduction	My husband and I adopted our first daughter from China in 2003 and are ‘patiently’ waiting for her sister (LID June 2006). I have been involved in Chinese adoption activities and organisations since 2001. I have a strong interest in supporting children that remain in China. I have previously worked hard with other families to raise money for the new orphanage building at my daughter’s first home. We also sponsor 6 young girls and 2 young boys, from the area our daughter is from, to go to school – education is not free in China and girls from poor families, particularly in rural areas, may only get one or two years schooling without support. We'd love to sponsor more girls to get an education and a future.
