| Introduction | I am a defense writer and author. Check out my recent article in The New Yorker on the Korean War POW who never came home. I've recently written for Wired.com, Defense Media Network, D Magazine, Weider History Group, and Smithsonian Air & Space. I've published two novels, the first, Germania (Simon & Schuster, 2008), takes place during the three-week long "Flensburg Reich" of Hitler's successor, Admiral Doenitz. The second, Friend of the Devil, involves a 1930's pothead bluesman, Bonnie & Clyde, Mexican Border Radio, goat glands, God and the Devil. |
