| Introduction | I am a 27 year old new mom of a beautiful baby girl, who has always had a knack for decorating and and eye for all things shabby, chic, vintage, green, beachy, diy, etsy...the list goes on and on! My only condition? It has to be cheap! And of course I don't mean cheap in that plastic, flimsy, dollar store way...although, I do love me a cheap dollar store find every now and again! Inexpensive garage sale, thrift shop, clearance section treasures that are waiting to be found! I LIVE for super-bargain steals! I am a confessed redecorating addict, let me pause here to apologize to the Hubs who gets dragged into my addiction! Although he too loves himself a bargain. The Hubs has recently proven himself to be quite the self-taught craftsman and handyman, further feeding my addiction to DIY (although I guess it's not my DIY if I'm not doing it! Minor details!) Funny thing is though, that as much as I love this decorating and designing and trash-to-treasures hunting hobby of mine, my actual career choice is far from it...in "real life" I'm actually a middle school teacher! Go figure! |
