| Introduction | My husband John and I travel the United States in our motorhome with our two cats, Candy and JAWS. This is a weekly blog about what we have done the past week. While our driver’s licenses are from Texas, John grew up in northern Minnesota and I spent most of my life in southern Nevada. He retired from the United States Army in 1999 as a Sergeant Major, and has since worked in the hospitality industry. I have worked as medical front office, a union carpenter, a mail carrier, and a massage therapist. Currently I am taking online classes from Grand Canyon University, working toward a Masters degree in Christian Studies with an emphasis in youth ministry. Our lives are blessed with lots of family and friends. We have family in Georgia, Minnesota, southern Nevada, Idaho, and Illinois that we usually get to see once a year. Our friends are scattered and we enjoy seeing them whenever we can. We hope you will enjoy reading about our adventures. Some weeks are more adventurous than others, but we praise God for every moment! |
