| Introduction | Hello! I am Kate, and I live with my husband Adam in sunny Southern Arizona with our two dogs, Bear and Kodi. I'm almost 30, a manager at a local non-profit, and happily married 7 years. I try not to let infertility stuff define me too much! I am a total pop culture addict, I can't go a day without my gossip. I don't think it's very trendy to say I love TV, but I do... its like art to me! That goes for movies too. I am eternally devoted to all things Disneyland, Harry Potter, Neil Patrick Harris, Tim Burton, (more recently) Twilight and Glee. Our story: We started trying to conceive about five years ago. After a diagnosis of PCOS (and no period for about 8 months!), we knew we were in for an uphill battle. After the assistance of Clomid, we were able to conceive for the first time about three years ago, only to miscarry a few weeks later. Since then, I've had three more miscarriages--the most recent one ending at about 12 weeks with a DandC in August 2009. We started the blog to share our story, and more importantly, share a laugh. We truly believe humor heals! |
