| Introduction | I spent four long years bringing my son from Galway to Dublin three days a week for dialysis. For some unknown reason he had chosen to arrive in the world in 2003 without any kidneys. In 2007 his Dad gave him his left kidney and we could start to travel again. Going abroad was not an option so we set out to explore our beautiful island of Ireland and so the smartphone app 'Ireland: Are We There Yet?' was born.
