About me

Location United States
Introduction I started playing table tennis at my local Boys and Girls Club where I took swim lessons. I loved it so much that my family bought a table when I was about 10. When I entered middle school, I signed up for the after-school table tennis program. Wanting to learn more, I looked for options outside of school. Luckily in the summer of 2011, I discovered the Westchester Table Tennis Center, where I started playing. Unfortunately, within a few weeks I suffered a thumb injury that sidelined me for over a year. I returned to the club in the fall of 2012 and started training with my coaches, Rawle Alleyne and Robert Roberts. After years of playing travel soccer and travel basketball, I quit both to focus on table tennis. I played my first ever tournament in September 2012 and haven't stopped since. Table tennis is a fun, fast-paced, and exciting sport, and my goal is to popularize it.
