Introduction	J. William “Bill” Garry, Jr. was born in Kingston, New York and raised in Kennebunk, Maine. He now lives in Manassas, Virginia. Bill spent thirty years in commercial banking. He has always loved animals and one day decided to write a book about their cat, Princess Pansy Pi, titled “College Cat”. They had her six years before, Storm,full name "Red Storm Rising", a stray, mix; Rhodesian Ridgeback came into their neighborhood and home to live. This led him to write a second book about the initial impact Storm made on Princess’ and the family’s life and how life evolved for Princess after a period of time. Friends and others like the first two books so much that they encourged me to write a third book. This encourgement brought about Storm's Maine Vacation. The true story of Storm visting the area in Maine where I, the author,grew up. Actual pictures of the trip were used in this story. I used actual pictures again because readers, both young and old, enjoyed the actual pictures used in telling the story of The Princess and Storm because it is not common to use actual pictures in children's books.
