| Introduction | I dive in, I don't check the water temperature or the weather for the afternoon swim. I just show up in my suit, circle the pool a few times and then jump in hoping I don't drown. November 2008 I started circling the pool of photography and I mean really peering into that water with my toes just curling over the edge waiting to leap in. As I was cleaning out piles of clutter making room for the Holiday decor I found a little sticky that I wrote on when I was in 4th or 5th grade that had potential jobs on it. It was a wonderful little list that included jobs such as ~rodeo clown, roadie and buyer. I'm quite certain at the time I had no idea what I would be buying or what being a rodeo clown or roadie entails nor did I realize teeth would probably be removed at some point for me to hold those positions for any length of time. Its been established that I wasn't a very bright child and I aimed low. What I realize now is that I had been circling that pool for a lot longer than I thought so here I am diving in...you know what, I don't think I'll ever test the water first. Its just not who I am. |
