Introduction	Hi. I’m Liz, nature lover and mom of two boys and four hens. As the weather started to get colder this fall, I decided to commit to getting outside each day for a hike in order to keep my spirits up and sanity intact during the COVID-19 pandemic. I often visited the same forest and was surprised how every day was different. I took some photos to attempt to capture the wonder and beauty of it all, and ultimately I was inspired to write haikus to document the essence of my experience each day. I hope you enjoy my haikus and photos. But, most of all, I hope they inspire you to take a walk outside and appreciate the natural world for yourself.
