| Introduction | As a born and raised Alaskan, I am now adjusting not only to living in the great state of Texas, bu tbeing married to a native Texan as well! I've gone from the desert dry and cold conditions of small town Alaska to the sub-tropical coastal mtetropolis of Houston! What a change it has been! Adjusting to the heat, the humidity, the bugs (boy are there ever some BUGS!), the food, the Texas drawl - everything - hasn't been easy, but it's been an adventure! And, honestly, I'm LOVIN' it! This whole adventure started back in August 2003, when my life changed radically. I quit my job of 11 years, and started following a new path. Since that time, I have tried many new things - and chronicled them along the way. Someday perhaps I'll write a book... but for now, life is here on this page.... Blessings |
