Introduction My interest in DDR began in late 2000 when our city got its first DDR machine at Playdium Edmonton. Since 2001 or so, I've been making simfiles on and off, starting with a variety songs from other bemani games, Dancemania soundtracks, and other music interests. J-SIMS didn't realize until August of 2007. The roots of this blog stemmed from my interest in ayumi hamasaki's music. For many years, ayu has been my main focus and inspiration for simfile-making. Over time, I decided to broaden my portfolio by tapping into other artists, such as Utada Hikaru, and Gackt. At the time, having individual sites for each artist became a hassle, so I decided to compile all J-POP related simfiles into one central blog, which is now J-SIMS. I plan to continue making simfiles for as long as I'm interested in DDR simulation, and most importantly, as long as I have continuing support from the community. Apart from J-SIMS, I'm also interested in fashion and design. I want to be able to design as a career in general. I currently design step charts for SportGames, a Dutch company that utilizes DDR simulation as a form of fitness and group activity.
