| Introduction | Dr. Ahsan Danish Brief Introduction Dr. Ahsan ul Haque Pathan is a well-known figure for his multi-dimensional work in Sindhi Literature. He is identified with his pen name Dr. Ahsan Danish in the literary world. Even though he has written in different literary genres, he is particularly known for his works in the fields of research and criticism. His writing career spans over the period of thirty five years. Born at Larkana in 1974 this researcher completed his Ph.D in Sindhi Literature in 2015 from the University of Sindh on the topic Shah Latif ji Sha’eri jo Samaji Karij (Social Function of Shah Latif’s Poetry). He has written many useful articles on modern Sindhi poetry in addition to his articles on the poetry of Shah Latif, Sachal Sarmast and other classical Sindhi poets. Dr. Danish has also written research articles on the topics such as Modern Trends in Sindhi Short Story and Criticism in Sindhi Literature. The number of his research articles published in HEC recognized research journals and literary magazines of quality is one hundred and sixty. Dr. Ahsan Danish is associated with Arts council of Pakistan Larkana, Sachal Adabi Markaz Larkana and Indus Literary Forum. |
