About me

Gender Female
Industry Consulting
Occupation Small Business Consultant/Finance Director
Location Portland, Oregon, United States
Introduction I'm originally from CT, lived in Boston for 19 years and NYC for 3 years before going to CA and then onto Oregon. I was raised in a very creative family, and nearly everything artistic in my life I learned from my parents. My passion for knitting and textiles in general is HUGE and it amazes me to just think about the way humans came up with fabric...pounded those sticks and reeds into linen. Somehow from all of this I have developed a small business consulting practice that has been active for the past 18 years. It's my curious nature that has fed my desire to learn about every industry and my ability to organize my perceptions that has led me to mentoring.
Interests Knitting, tea, movies, exploring Portland, designing knitwear, Spinning yarn
Favorite Movies House of Sand and Fog, Ballad of Jack and Rose, Walk on the Moon, Bladerunner, many more
Favorite Music Folk, Jazz, Classical
Favorite Books Healing into Life and Death by Stephen Levine, The Hours by Michael Cunningham, most things by Jeannette Winterson, Collette, or Hesse
