Introduction No novice to the world of belles and baubles, Harley began her artistic sojourns at an early age. Back home on Long Island, she illustrated for the “Kids Section” of Newsday, shunned Barbie, & managed to wear her Girl Scout uniform with unprecedented flare. In these nascent years, Harley’s eye for detail began to assert itself thus preventing her from committing the likely adolescent fashion faux pas. And so, she passed through junior high (and the 1980s) practically unscathed, experimenting with bizarre combinations of clothes, neglecting her spelling homework, & dreaming of the day when this glamour girl could spend more time accessorizing & less time cleaning her room. Today you might find Harley strutting through the streets of New York, often being intercepted by passersby demanding to know from whence her shoes have come. Harley has channeled this traffic-stopping ability into a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors-from baking to sewing, graphic to interior design; she is continually inspired and much to the delectation of those who know her, enjoys sharing her creativity. Currently she is freelancing as a style consultant & fantasizing about becoming the next “Martha”.
