The CLE programme in our Faculty commenced effectively in 2004 as one of the four pilot projects in Nigeria set up in collaboration with the Network of University Legal Aid Institutions, Nigeria (NULAI), with support from the Open Society Justice Initiative, Open Society Institute, Abuja. The Prisons' Service Legal Clinic is a section of the CLE programme with the aim of providing our students with the opportunity of servicing live clients while at the same time providing legal aid to prison inmates. |
