| Introduction | As so many of you who are taking the time to read this blog, my simple liking of wine became an obsession thanks to a single bottle. From the moment I took that fateful sip, I wanted to learn everything about this breath-taking drink. I snagged every wine magazine and book I could get my hands on and quickly fell in love with the history behind each winery, the technique that goes into making each bottle, and every little nuance that goes into this amazing industry. Over the years, I have enjoyed working at a winery where I helped with the event planning, social media, tasting room tasks and harvests. I have also completed my Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 1 and 2 Award in Wines certifications, and, of course, have frequented as many wineries, festivals, classes, and anything else you can think of centering around this “nectar of the gods” that I can. And, that is simply what this blog is. It’s my novice musings over my various wine adventures and experiences, and I hope you enjoy coming along with me as I continue my dive into the world of wine.
