Introduction	I started this blog mostly because of peer pressure but also to give me an outlet to write all the things I want my family to remember but nobody really wants to hear! I am a stay at home mom who works as a pharmacist one night a week. I am grateful for that combination and the reality it brings to my perspective. A few years ago as I prepared to begin new season of teaching school at home, I came across the familiar verse Zechariah 4:6 which reads, "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord." That's how I want to live this life as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and teacher-- by His Spirit and not by my own frantic and pitiful efforts. I write mainly for my family and close friends, being very aware it's a stretch to think that they would even be interested. If you read any of this, I feel completely honored and pray that somehow you would be encouraged by my categorized ramblings.
Interests	nights at home with Jeff, any kind of food as long as it's Mexican, Scripture, the ocean, great kids’ literature, kissing the bridge of my kids noses (sideways), good words, great music, adoption, vacuum marks on the carpet, reading, a well run and well stocked home, the smell of pool chlorine and sunscreen, index cards, and the thought of family bonded together because of their love for Jesus and each other
