Introduction	I grew up on a farm and have always loved spending time outdoors. From a young age I had my own little menagerie of pets and, as a child, I spent my days climbing up stacks of straw bales, swinging from apple trees and collecting wild flowers. For the last five years, I've worked from home as a freelance journalist and communications consultant, which means that I no longer have to do the dreaded daily commute into town. I also get to spend more time outdoors, which makes me feel happy and inspired. It's the ultimate work-life balance!
Interests	I'm a country girl born and bred. My favourite pastimes include exploring the beautiful Yorkshire countryside with my dogs and pottering around my vegetable patch.
