| Introduction | I was born on an island, but I had to leave. I will probably never return, but I remember it well. I believe in all things spiritual, but I follow no religion. I love all animals, nature, and some people. If you're curious about the profile picture, well, it's Miriam Rothschild, born August 5, 1908, died January 20, 2005. I think she was wonderful, for many reasons, not the least of which was that she LOVED Shelties! She was a British zoologist and wrote a great deal, including lots of things about fleas (she was an expert). Her home was Ashton Wold in Northamptonshire, England. She was often seen walking through her village, wearing her flower print dress, head scarf, and wellies, in the company of a tame fox. |
