| Introduction | Tastes of Home was created to alleviate my occasional bouts of homesickness through food. I know there are plenty of Asians/ Malaysians who have moved overseas for various reasons who will miss food from home - these recipes are also for just anyone who likes Asian food. I hope to share my home recipes and also other delicious recipes I discover along the way. I moved to San Diego from Malaysia a few years ago and as most Malaysians or Asians will attest to, I truly miss the food and have violent cravings sometimes! If you are one of these people, you will feel totally at home here! Easy and delicious recipes are my main focus but sometimes I will deviate and try out more complex recipes just for the fun of it! I have 3 posts on each page, and I have also included a 'Recipe of the Week' which features my recipes on a rotation basis to make sure you don't miss any of my delicious recipes! Tastes of Home is essentially a Malaysian food blog with a Chinese slant, interspersed with recipes from other cultures as well. |
