About me

LocationNorth Central, Pennsylvania, United States
IntroductionCurrently my focus is researching nature integrated agriculture and ecological restoration on my small farm. I also tend honeybees, and grow tree fruit and specialty fruit. I am an EAS Master Beekeeper, and teach beekeeping classes. Formally, I was an educator in economic and community development and an agriculture coordinator for Penn State Extension. Before PSUE, I worked in healthcare business development and marketing where I began working in Customer Relations Management (CRM) and database marketing in 1991. Today, it is hard to believe that all that and publishing my first magazine was done with a Mac SE. Later a Mac IIci opened me to the internet and AOL. I was an early adopter of social media primarily for marketing, but have withdrawn much for personal use as I am a privacy advocate (I have already said too much), but for a business, social media outreach can produce amazing results if one has a strategy… Much of my youth was spent on family farms and the East Branch Antietam Creek in Franklin County, Pennsylvania where I still have a cottage along the creek that I see little and yearn for much.
