| Introduction | Since April 1995 my life has been inextricably intertwined with my love for and life with my wife, Patty. We are partners, lovers, best friends, life’s interlocutors, coaches, cheerleaders, care givers, survivors, and thrivers. We’ve both faced challenges during our lives that may stagger the imagination of most. However, we’ve always managed to survive and thrive. Together, we are now facing Patty’s diagnosis and treatment of Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP), a very rare form of gastrointestinal cancer. During our marriage we’ve learned that our combined strength is always greater than the simple sum of our individual strengths. We know that we’ll come through this challenge stronger, closer, and healthier than we were when it started. |
