| Introduction | I’m a new wife, mom to two kitties and owner of a small red-brick cottage. My days are filled with tidying the house, browsing cookbooks and searching the web for great food blogs. Oh and searching for a career too. The year 2009 was historic in my book of life because I graduated from school, bought a house, and married my high school sweetheart, in that order. My adventures in the kitchen began when I graduated in May armed with a fancy MBA degree. Thanks to the economy, my search for a post-MBA career so far has been fruitless. But with extra time on my hands, I learned my way around the kitchen, studied recipes and befriended food. Even though I have formed an intimate relationship with food, I still have my quirks. Mayonnaise is the devil and buttered bread is the devil’s handiwork. The idea of eating food off a bone sends shivers down my spine. Yack! But I enjoy a good, simple home cooked meal that satisfies my belly. I’m a self-taught home cook that loves spending quality time in the kitchen. I’d love to hear from you.
