| Introduction | My name is Jan. I am married and have four children (three biological and one that I inherited when I married her Dad). William and I have six grandchildren. We live in Mississippi and are retired. William retired in December 2011 from teaching Special Education after 34 years. I am a retired child care provider. We raise our veggies but due to health reasons we had to sell our animals. We use very little to no chemicals to grow our garden. We are hoping by the first of 2014 we will be able to start our flock of birds again and maybe two rabbit does and a buck. We had chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and guineas when William had to have knee surgery. I miss all the sounds our birds made and am looking forward to starting all over again. | Favorite movies | My all time favorite movie is Home Alone (the first one) and I watch it several times a year. |
| Favorite music | My favorite music is Southern Gospel but I also like to listen to Classical music and Opera. |
| Favorite books | The Bible and books by Karen Kingsbury and John Grisham. |
