| Introduction | I have performed QA/QC instinctively and with varying degrees of structure (or lack thereof) for most of my life. During the past 11 years, I've been involved in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting software, services, systems, and platforms. I've also spent 5 of the past 11 years building and managing various teams involved in these endeavors. I have been gradually persuaded to believe (often while kicking and struggling against the change) that Agile processes and DevOps represent two of the simplest and most important concepts for making an IT group successful. These are also among the most difficult principles and practices to implement with consistency and balance. |
