IntroductionI'm Justin Humphreys, a writer, curator, film historian, memorabilia broker, cartoonist, and narrator. I didn't find writing--it found me. I've had two books of interviews and essays published, NAMES YOU NEVER REMEMBER, WITH FACES YOU NEVER FORGET and INTERVIEWS TOO SHOCKING TO PRINT! My work appears in magazines and newspapers in America, France, and Canada including True West, Rue Morgue, L'Ecran Fantastique, Filmfax, and Video Watchdog. I have lectured on film and animation at universities, film festivals, and elsewhere. My work was quoted and cited in Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein: A Mel Brooks Book." I wrote and narrated a documentary for the Blu-Ray of Brian De Palma's SISTERS and recorded an audio commentary for the first Blu-Ray release of THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES, part of the best-selling "Vincent Price Collection" set. I specialize in curatorial work involving rare and unique film, TV, and music memorabilia. I have catalogued and/or sold significant portions of the estates of Maureen O'Hara, Charlton Heston, George Pal, and others. Feel free to contact me about privately brokering memorabilia and artwork.
