Occupation writer -- women's fiction, romances, short stories
Location United States
Introduction I am, and I think always have been, a writer of love stories. I am married, with one child and three grandchildren, and until just recently, I was owned by one very elderly "writer's" cat. I am the author of a a number of short stories and a couple of dozen or so books. Some of them have won awards, one of the books, A CRIME OF THE HEART, appeared in GOOD HOUSEKEEPING magazine. I draw a little, paint a little, sing a little, dance a lot (when no one is watching). Oh, and I was a nurse for thirty years. Did you know that on some levels, the two professions -- nursing and writing -- are a lot alike? NOTE: The "portrait" is courtesy of the senior member of my very talented, very creative art department. It has "love" in the lower right corner and a spider in the upper left. Now, how cool is that?
