| Introduction | Sometimes you could think that Israel is some expansive country, larger than Jordan, Egypt and Syria combined. The reality, of course, is much different. Some Israeli politicians (like Shimon Peres) used to scoff at the need for territory, but he's wrong. Say Kassam Shassam as much as you want, but no one wants to live under the threat of them. Besides, it is our homeland and not just where our homes, water and livelihood is located. I was asked by my brother to make a file for Google Earth (goto www.israelanswers.com for more on that) and came up with an idea to attach some current event to a map. Maps add context and a little bit of context doesn't hurt in understanding Israel. |
