| Introduction | I am a husband, father, grandfather, student, teacher, coach, craftsman, outdoorsman. I am passionate about my family,my faith, my research, my community, my students. I love fishing, hunting, camping, coaching football, gardening, sculpting metal, building furniture, landscping, and anything else outdoors. I am amazed by God's grace, my children's commitment and dedication, my wife's love for me, and the effects of serving one's community. My proudest accompishments are completing my BA with honors at 45, founding and presiding over Community Service Cooperative, developing a viable new assessment model for service-learning, and completing my MA (well this won't happen utnil June) with honors. I am currently a member of the WASC Accredidation Community Engagement Subcommittee, member of ASI Board of Directors, President of Community Service Cooperative, Vice President of the Council of Graduate Students, member of ASI Finance Subcommittee, member of CSUB Master Plan Committee, member of the President's University Council, member of CSUB Master Plan Committee, and a member of CSUB Student Academic and Non-academic Grievance Committee. |
