About me

Gender Female
Occupation Stay-at-home mom
Location Tennessee, United States
Introduction My husband is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. We moved to Louisville in January 2007 from West Tennessee, and moved back to West Tennessee in May 2010 so he could farm. We have 3 daughters born in 2002, 2004, and 2009. I'm addicted to black and white shows from the "golden era" of the 50's-early 60's. I tend to overthink things, especially at night when I am trying to go to sleep. I like to think I'm really complicated and deep, but the older I get I'm afraid I'm just a really average person trying to break out. My dream since I was in second grade is to be a published author. Now that I am nearing my mid 30's I guess I better get busy! One more thing, I like to make jokes and be sarcastic, and it often gets me into trouble.
Interests Gender roles (according to the Bible), homeschooling, meal planning, sewing, crocheting, reading, writing, gardening, working with the elderly, getting to know people of other cultures, organizing (I would love to get paid to organize for people!) I'm also obsessed with the ocean, but seem to keep moving further and further towards the middle of the country.
Favorite Movies So many!! I don't like super scary or super sad movies. To Kill a Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice, ...I'll have to give this list and the book list some more thought.
Favorite Music The Beatles, Dave Matthews Band, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, classical--Brahms. I also like some of the big band songs and some jazz. I like "pretty" music. I have a terrible tendency to pick favorite songs without listening to the words.
Favorite Books To Kill a Mockingbird, Fearlessly Feminine by Jani Ortlund, Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Once and Future King, The Narnia books, Harry Potter books, Trumpet of the Swan, TOO MANY!!!
