Semeyn has over thirty years experience serving the Reformed Church of America and currently serves Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church in Elmhurst, Illinois as lead pastor since 2011. Rev. Semeyn’s previous ministry experience includes serving as lead pastor at Faith Reformed Church in Traverse City, MI, as a Chaplain at Hope College, as an Associate Pastor at Christ Church of Oak Brook, and as Senior Pastor of the Reformed Church of Palos Heights (now Christ Community Church.) Becky, Peter's wife of 37 years, is an elementary educator and together the Semeyns have three adult children: Ben, who lives in Cleveland; Jesse and his wife Marta who live in Chicago and Libby who lives in Traverse City. |
