| Introduction | I built up my first single speed road bike in 2004. I'm still using the original components which have now survived three broken frames. The wheels have endured 7000+ miles and the front wheel has had every spoke break. I read somewhere that a wheel should be replaced after three spokes break but I didn't hear of that rule until I had replaced every spoke. Last month I bought a new wheel and started a blog called broken spoke. |
