Introduction | Susanna is passionately committed to finding beauty in everyday life. Combining her life as a yoga teacher, visual artist, and writer, her classes offer an experience of creativity, intensity and grace. She is based at NYC’s Virayoga and is a founding member of Yoga Coalition. Her background as a Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher continues to inform her refined alignment-based teaching. She has spent over a decade studying Rajanaka Tantra with Dr. Douglas Brooks, a top scholar of Hindu Tantrism, with whom she travels regularly to South India. Susanna’s artwork is widely represented in public collections. For years, she lectured & wrote for MoMA, including co-authoring "Looking at Matisse and Picasso." She wrote a weekly column for SocialWorkout for over a year, and currently writes for Elephant Journal &What delights her most is bringing the yoga off of the mat and into other creative forms.
