Introduction	I'm a 54 year old Christian wife, mother and grandmother who has tried to lose weight for over forty years. But, here's the deal, two years ago I made a promise to myself that I wasn't going to quit trying. So, for these last two years I have gained and lost the same eight lbs. To some of you, that would seem like failure. To me, it's not a grand success but it is an improvement. For the last 20 years I have put on ten lbs a year. When you think of it that way, I am 20lbs to the good!
