Introduction	'Sakhi' is an Indian word meaning friends - of the female persuasion. A few of my friends and I have formed a book-club. We meet once a month, taking turns selecting books, and hosting the discussions. The books have been fun, and the discussions have been even better. We have never yet run out of things to say; but then, we are women, and we are sakhis.
