| Introduction | I started this blog in 2008 as a way to share my experience living in South Africa as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. Over the years it has morphed into a way to keep in touch with my amazing friends and family, who are always on my mind (no matter how far away!), and a way to keep track of some of the photos and stories from this amazing adventure of a life. | Interests | walking without a limp, taking it all in, chile lime and cliantro, salsa dancing, social entrepreneurship, loving and being loved by my freakishly amazing friends, providing access to education and healthcare, traveling to countries that I never knew existed, especially if they have a beach, desert, or jungle, being near people with musical talents, white-water rafting with my parents, being with people who can tell stories that make me laugh or cry, long talks over the breakfast table, baking bread, my amazing brother, guanajuato, snuggling with anyone who will get close enough, finding the real meaning of church, non-interest: apathy |
