Introduction A Chartered Architect practising from a converted 19th Century former silk manufacturing warehouse in Hinckley serving middle England (and a little bit of Wales). We work on a variety of projects ranging from small residential extensions to multi million pound commercial schemes; occasionally dabble with masterplans, urban design and competitions, which is exciting. Fate has brought us to this region and travelling plays an important part of our family life, so, who knows where fate may take us; life is a tapestry, just like the Built Environment. Since setting up practice in 2006 and acquiring Beckett Associates in 2007, boundaries of work and home have dissolved (apart from the 30 minute commute, which gives me time to ponder about projects). My professional life has become a profound key to my personal life and here is where I hope to share my tastes and interests, focusing on those elements which circumnavigate and influence me as an Architect. Hope some content brings food for thought.
Interests ARCHITECTURE and Urban Design, Photography in particular buildings, forms, colours, moments and people, a little Gardening now and again, visiting new cities whenever possible.
