| Introduction | The past year of my life has held more than I could EVER have anticipated! It's had the most drastic ups and downs anyone could ever have imagined and yet im still standing. As I sit here and reflect upon it a quote I read once comes to mind, "Life is what happens when you you're busy making other plans." This could not have been applied more perfectly to me, I would almost think it was said directly to describe my life! In the past year i've been happily married, left and divorced, worked in a warzone, unexpectedly pregnant, bought my first house, gave up my sports car, reconnected with family I haven't had a relationship with since childhood, lost friends and become closer to others, severed ties with people and gotten to know new ones. Im not going to say its been easy, quite the opposite, it has been extremely difficult! Filled with too many nights of tears and not enough days of smiles but looking back on it all, I don't regret being where I am in life. Like always, im happy with the person I am..and this blog is to chronicle the major events in life that continue to make me who I am. |
