| Introduction | its your girl, dy.
i came up in Queens, NY. merrick and linden, my two favorite blvds.:-) ive been spittin' since a lil thing and performing since high school. i write, i recite and rip stages. i took a little break after college.(hey, i wasnt the first unknown emcee to retire..LOL) i tried to put the music to the side but "it just be callin' me, man..." (in my pookie voice) in 2005, after putting the music to the side for a while, i moved to Tampa and FL has been good to me. one of the highlights thus far has been opening up for Little Brother in Ybor City. that was a turning point for me. i realized that i needed to get focused! i also met my DJ, tampa legend DJ Sandman. the following year, the magic that is team DY began.. :-) team DY consists of Sandman, Jinx, Deacon, Tyrelle, Fader and a few other dedicated individuals who hold your girl down. we had a good year in 09 and i'll detail some of the outstanding moments in my blogs. if the highlights of 2010 surpass those of 2009... the journey is going to be BIG. ...i plan to enjoy the ride. your girl, ~dy |
