| Introduction | The goal of this blog is to share with the world my passion for tennis. I first started following the sport in 1999 and since then my love for the sport has grown exponentially. I am a UCLA graduate in communications so I expect to provide a well-written and organized take on the current state of tennis. The focus will not be in the Federers and Nadals of the world. In fact, my intention is to write about those at the other end of the spectrum. I'm gonna try to touch into juniors tennis (as far back as under-16s and maybe under-14s), and their development. I want to expose careers from as close as possible to the beginning, and follow them all the way to the top 100. I will focus a lot on futures and challengers, as they are the previous step before the "big leagues". It's my intention to not be 100% cut and dry, I will have opinions and biases along with results and analysis. I want this to be a place where people can be informed, but also entertained and challenged. I welcome anyone's opinion as long as it is given within a frame of respect. I welcome criticism too, as I'm new to full-scale blogging and I have everything to learn. Welcome! |
