| Introduction | Readers should use their discretion regarding the veracity of personal stories told by this blogger. I'm a male human who lives in a large Jewish community in an English-speaking country. Because I'm a pillar of my synangogue, I'd like to keep my identity private,as there could be personal reprecussions. I grew up in Conservative Judaism, went to Conservative Hebrew School, and have been an active member of Conservative congregations for over 20 years. But lately, I've been questioning everything about Conservative movement and even Judaism in general. I want to share my thoughts, but not with people I know, who I'm afraid will not honestly help me, but rather try to bring me back into the fold. |
