| Introduction | I'm a soon-to-be fifty year old Catholic school teacher (teaching in a public school). I enjoy almost all crafts that employ the use of fiber - embroidery, tatting, crochet, knitting, sewing, and especially quilting. I've been quilting for years and use my quilting time as time to pray for family, friends and students. I love to travel and have lived in Asia and traveled widely in Europe. I take high school students to Europe for a couple of weeks each summer and spend a lot of that time taking pictures of designs that I can incorporate into quilts. I'm wife to a wonderful guy, known as DH (for dear hubby), mom to two beautiful and mischievous dachshunds, grandma to two cute (and brilliant) red-headed little ladies (Who says I'm biased?) aunt to five wonderful nieces, one nephew and one great-niece. |
