Introduction	In the 90s, I started messing about in dinghies and small yachts in Chicester Harbour then became completely hooked on sailing after racing in a corporate regatta. As well as teaching sailing theory and practices, I'm equally happy cruising, exploring or racing. Member of the Royal Ocean Racing Club and Little Ship Club.
Favorite movies	Layer Cake, Croupier, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, 24 Hour Party People, The Ninth Gate, Fifth Element, House of Flying Daggers, Motor Cycle Diaries, The Abyss, Master & Commander, Gladiator, plus a weakness for James Bond films, Spanish surrealism, French Art House, Monty Python and The Mighty Boosh [although not strictly speaking a film] and Life on Mars
Favorite music	chill-out, difficult jazz, jazz funk, modern jazz, classical, latino, Led Zeppelin, rock, blues, pop, dance, 80s electro-pop and much more
Favorite books	French bandes dessins, cookery books, Oscar Wilde short stories, Bill Bryson - A Short History of Everything, anything by Haruki Murakami, anything by Arturo Perez-Reverte
