Introduction	Hi. Thanks for visiting my blog. After years of working in finance (dull), I decided to follow my heart and take a writing class. Not only did it open my mind, but it opened my heart. I fell in love with writing again, which I hadn't done since high school. So after I got my first HANDWRITTEN rejection letter from the NY Times, a friend suggested a blog. So here I am. Trying to get it out there and hoping that you all will enjoy it, relate to it, and find some humor in it. Growing up "different" in Alabama is hard, but it can be really damn funny!
