| Introduction | Matt & I first met in Provo, UT when we were attending BYU & UVSC. We lived across the street from each other & Matt was our handy man, lawn boy, & cook, which quickly won me over (excellent husband qualities I grew up with). We were married in the Manti, Utah temple in August 2001. In May of 2002, following my BYU graduation, we moved to Chapel Hill, NC to run a group home for teenagers. We survived that job for 2 years and then did therapeutic foster care for 3 years. In the meantime Matt finished undergrad at UNC, started a landscaping company, and has been attending grad school for the last 3 years (he finishes this summer, yippee). After the group home job I decided that doing hair was my calling, not trying to tame other peoples teenagers. I completed beauty school almost 2 years ago and now work part time in a salon and full time at home with our squishy little baby. |
