Introduction	I am a Mom. It appears to most that I have one son. I actually have two. Eli Michael was born to me in May 2007 with a congenital heart defect. He should have just been a "cardiac kid," but infection and complcations after his open heart surgery claimed his life at 9 weeks old. This event changed my life. Forever. So, Eli has a little brother named Evan Michael who was born December 2008. My hope is that through this blog I can express my feelings of grief for Eli and hopes and dreams I have for Evan. Maybe it can help other Moms, too that have children after the death of an infant.
